WILDLIFE & CUTTING GARDENThe owners, both experienced gardeners, requested a garden to encourage wildlife. They also wanted to grow some of the planting for the garden with the addition of a new greenhouse. The garden had a very naturalist outlook with groupings of existing mature oak trees. • A new natural stone terrace was built with a generous path leading you through a timber pergola to a circular seating area. • The borders are planted with a mix of perennials and shrubs. A circular 'cutting garden' surrounds the greenhouse with an area to grow flowers, including Dahlias, for late summer colour. • A wildlife pond was constructed towards the end of the garden.
